She has led over 35 teams of volunteers to work with kids living in orphanages, safe homes and fighting for survival on the streets. Tammy Young is a vibrant leader and transparent speaker who sparks hope in the lives of others. With a heart to help others move beyond their past, Tammy launched One Heart One Hope Coaching practice, to empower people with the message of freedom. Passionate about her relationship with Christ, Tammy is a regular gal: daughter, first-born, mid-western, type-A leader, loving wife, advising mother, doting Grammy, and life-long student of the Bible. An ordained minister (yup, she’s a Reverend), Tammy graduated with an undergrad in Christian Education in 1987. After raising her family, owning her own business, working corporately, and pastoring for three decades, God prompted her to invest in her future growth. Tammy attended the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary at Evangel University and graduated in 2019 with a master’s degree in leadership, specifically for women.
Each part of her story has given Tammy the tools she needs to be empower and equip women to embark on a journey of daily Christ-centered transformation from the inside out. She thrives in coaching women to their God-designed passion and purpose, by utilizing tools developed to help in her own journey with Christ, and has designed tools to aid in experiencing radical healing and change, by bringing Biblical truth to the center of every memory, trauma, or broken place.
Tammy’s goal is to be a leader worth following, transformed daily from the inside out.
In her spare time, when she isn’t loving on her grandbabies, she is working on a Doctor of Ministry degree at Southeastern University, researching Trauma Resolution Therapy from a Biblical point of view.
Autumn Kerr is not only the Founder and Executive Director of Restoration Nation Retreat, she is also a mom and an entrepreneur in every sense of the word.
Her professional experience includes 11 years on advertising agency creative teams and 10 years in various roles within a missions sending organization called Go Be Love International (GBLI) that took her on 18 trips all over the world, including a trip to Ethiopia in 2011 where she met her son whom she adopted as a single woman. It was during her time on staff with Go Be Love that Autumn fell in love with retreat planning. She coordinated a number of retreats for missionaries serving overseas and the feedback she would get afterwards showed her how truly necessary and valuable retreats are.
Currently, Autumn is wearing many entrepreneurial hats including as owner of a graphic design and consulting agency called Cultivate Place Creative. She also has an Esty store where she sells faith based and inspirational necklaces and keychains. This side business started because of an RNR retreat. In April of 2022, Autumn made her first batch of necklaces as a gift for our retreat attendees. The ladies loved them so much, they started asking her to make more to give to family and friends. Thus this little side business was born. Autumn is also an Independent Beauty Consultant with Mary Kay and loves getting to pamper women through in-person and virtual parties. All of these small businesses allow Autumn the flexibility to be able to put her time and heart into Restoration Nation Retreat. The Lord has given her a very specific vision for this ministry and she is passionate about pouring into others through Christ-centered retreats. She has seen how burnout and stress can wreak havoc in lives and hearts and believes taking time away at least once a year is crucial to living a healthy and whole life. Especially if you're in a role that involves caring for others. You can't pour from an empty pitcher. It's so important to fill up and carve out time to hear from Jesus and have fellowship with other believers.
At this retreat, Autumn will share some of her story and how the Lord has gotten her through some of her most challenging seasons. She looks forward to pouring into each one of the ladies who attend!
