Our Purpose
To see people healed and whole in Jesus.
Our Mission
To refresh, nourish and restore those in need of healing through Christ-centered retreats, conferences, counseling, and other services.
Our Vision
Spiritually and emotionally healthy Christians equipped to live out their God-given purposes and potential.
The vision for Restoration Nation Retreat was born out of a time of worship and prayer where the Lord gave our founder a visual picture of a retreat center (see rendering at the bottom of this page). RNR hosts many different types of retreats including retreats for missionaries, pastors, ministry leaders, foster & adoptive families, those who need physical healing, those who've experienced loss and trauma, and more. RNR also partners with churches, ministries and other groups to plan custom retreats. All retreats are Christ-centered and include worship, prayer, fellowship, rest and restoration.
RNR puts together retreat teams of volunteers to help execute each retreat. We are looking for volunteers in the areas of counseling, worship, massage, teaching, pastoral encouragement and more. Please fill out THIS FORM if you're interested in volunteering at an upcoming retreat.
We are also looking for financial partners. Our heart is to be able to offer these retreats for as little cost as possible for those who attend. If you would like to partner with us financially, please visit our DONATE page.
We have a vision for our own retreat center. If you or someone you know is interested in donating land or being part of seeing this God-sized vision realized, please contact us at: autumn.kerr@restorationnationretreat.org
Until we have our own facilities, we will hold our retreats at rental homes and retreat centers. Learn more on our RETREATS page.
The purpose of each retreat will be to pour out the extravagant love of the Father on those who attend.
Autumn Kerr is a Jesus follower and an adoptive mom who resides with her son and their two cats in Sarasota, Florida. Her professional career first started in advertising agencies in Detroit, Michigan and Nashville, Tennessee where she served as an Art Director and Copywriter for 11 years. In 2009, Autumn transitioned into the nonprofit world when she joined the staff of Go Be Love International (then called Visiting Orphans). After traveling on her very first mission trip in 2007 with Compassion International, Autumn was on fire for missions and joining the staff of Go Be Love was truly a dream come true. Autumn served in a number of roles at Go Be Love including Missions Assistant, Mission Trip Coordinator, Executive Manager, Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer. During her 10 years with the organization, she had the joy and privilege to get to lead mission teams on 18 trips to 9 countries. It was during her time coordinating overseas missionary care retreats that Autumn became passionate about encouraging others through retreats.
After Go Be Love closed in March of 2020 due to COVID-19, Autumn began praying about what the Lord would have next for her. It was during this time that the vision for Restoration Nation Retreat was born. Autumn is passionate about seeing people healed and whole in Jesus. It is her heart that Restoration Nation Retreat would be a safe place for attendees to experience restoration without being cost prohibitive. She is thrilled to get to pour out the extravagant love of the Father onto missionaries, ministry leaders, pastors, adoptive and foster families, as well as those who have experienced grief, loss, burnout, and trauma.
In addition to serving as Executive Director with RNR, Autumn is truly an entrepreneur. She has her own graphic design firm called Cultivate Place Creative where she is able to use her design skills to assist nonprofits, churches, businesses and individuals with their design needs.

Casi Young has spent almost 20 years in the nonprofit sector. First with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and then 9 years with Go Be Love International. It is through her work with Go Be Love that her heart for missionaries truly developed. The philosophy of the organization was to send teams not to do the work that they thought needed to be done but to partner with those missionaries and ministries that were on the ground already doing the work. It was an honor to Casi to be able to partner with missionaries through sending mission teams as well as get to travel on 18 mission trips to 8 countries to work alongside them. She is excited for this new chapter as a board member of Restoration Nation Retreat. She believes that when missionaries and ministry leaders and others that pour out to many have the opportunity to be poured into that they will be able to better continue the work that God has called them to do.
Casi lives in Hendersonville, TN with her husband, Chad, and 2 young kids, Emma and Mattox. They attend Cross Point church. They love to cheer on the Tennessee Vols! Casi loves adventure- big or small, traveling, being outdoors, reading, listening to music and being in authentic community.
Jill Muller has a heart that seeks out the lost and the lonely, the friendless and the fatherless. Her spirit has pioneered her passion to help the needy and those searching for hope. She has assisted in building churches by mixing and pouring concrete by hand in the hurricane-ravaged villages of Honduras. She has worked with nonprofits that sponsor children from the most impoverished areas of the world. She has volunteered time in providing disaster relief by re-building local communities. She has provided refuge to international missionaries from Germany, Spain and Honduras in her home. She has hosted children from the low-income boroughs of NYC. The work of restoration has become a theme in her life. Jill understands that serving others is a commitment of time and of love, and that those who devote themselves to God’s work need replenishing and support for their mind, body and soul. While attending Church of Hope Sarasota, Autumn and Jill met and forged a friendship. Autumn’s unrelenting and selfless motivation is to follow God’s plan for Restoration Nation Retreat. And Jill shares in this vision - to help bring healing to the brokenhearted, a respite for the burdened and rest for the weary.
Jill lives on Siesta Key in Sarasota, FL. After receiving her BFA from Syracuse University, she worked extensively in the design field in NYC and CT. Jill has one dearly beloved daughter, Michelle, who resides in Savannah, GA, and one Mini Schnauzer, Maggie, who merrily accompanies her on great adventures.
Jenni Ramsey has served as a missionary in 15 countries, where she has seen the Lord move powerfully in the midst of tremendous suffering. She also served as a church missions director for 15 years, supporting missionaries and sending teams all over the world. In 2009, Jenni founded His Hands His Feet, an organization that ministers to children living in orphanages in Central America. She has led over 30 mission teams of volunteers to work with kids living in orphanages, safe homes and fighting for survival on the streets.
Jenni was born & raised in CA. Her family moved to McKinney, Texas 6 years ago, where they worship & serve at Gateway Church. Jenni has been married for 27. They have 3 kids, one of whom they adopted from South Korea.
Jenni has been a guest speaker at multiple Restoration Nation Retreats and is passionate about pouring into missionaries and others through Christ-centered retreats. She is thrilled to be part of the RNR Board of Directors.
This drawing/rendering was created by Autumn Kerr. During a time of worship, God gave Autumn a visual picture of what the retreat center would look like. This drawing is her attempt to bring that to life visually. It's an early stage drawing and not meant to be a blueprint or official final rendering by any means.
About the vision:
In this vision, the main meeting space is a barn with a large conference center/reception room inside. This large room could be configured a number of different ways as needed. It would be the space guests come to for meals, group sessions, worship times, and more.
The row of small 2-story farmhouse style homes would be the guest housing.
About the retreats:
Restoration Nation Retreat hosts many different groups of people who need healing and restoration. Some of these groups include missionaries, ministry leaders, foster and adoptive families, those who are grieving, those who need physical healing, and more. Retreats are designed with each group of participants in mind. It is our heart to make these retreats as affordable as possible so that cost doesn't hinder anyone from coming. Until RNR has its own facilities, RNR will partner with retreat centers and rental properties for hosting retreats.
Beyond the initial vision: We look forward to seeing the Lord expand and grow all of this beyond the initial vision. We are excited to see what the Lord will do with all of it and who He will bring to the team. If you're interested in being part of our team of ambassadors who share and spread the word about RNR, serving on our board of directors, volunteering at a retreat, joining our prayer team, or have ideas or info you'd like to share, please send us an email through the chat feature below.
MOST CHRISTIANS HAVE EXPERIENCED SOME FORM OF BURNOUT IN THEIR ADULT LIFE. RNR SEEKS TO COMBAT THIS THROUGH CHRIST-CENTERED RETREATS DESIGNED TO REFRESH, NOURISH AND RESTORE.
During worship and prayer, Autumn got a visual picture of a large grey barn that would be a meeting space and a row of small 2-story farmhouses that would be used for guest quarters. The Lord showed her that this vision was a Christian retreat center. Autumn later did a rendering of what this vision looked like.
After a month of prayer and brainstorming many ideas for names, Autumn got the name for the ministry: Restoration Nation Retreat. Bought the domains (.com and .org) and checked the USPTO and Florida registries to make sure it wasn't taken. PTL - it wasn't. Love that the initials are RNR!!!
After two job interviews with other ministries this week and feeling conflicted about it all, Autumn prayed and heard the Lord say "Don't abandon your promise land for someone else's". This was the day that stepping out in faith truly began! Following Jesus. No turning back!!!
Autumn created a GoFundMe page to raise $1500 to start the 501c3. Within 3 days, it was fully funded!!
Started the process and paid in full for the 501(c)3 process with Charity Net by Bryte Bridge.
All RNR paperwork has been filed, we have an EIN #, articles of incorporation and a bank account.
